The Russia-Ukraine Conflict in Historical & Global Perspective

As we mark the third anniversary of the most recent Russian invasion of Ukraine, this seminar explores the historical and global context for the conflict. SU Professor of History Gregory Ference and Fulbright Visiting Scholar Yuriy Petrushenko of Sumy State University examine the history of relations between the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, the conflict itself, and the implications of the war for the region, Europe and the world.
