CSA Overview

ɫ�ۺϾþ� University's Center for Student Achievement has a plethora of free resources to help students reach their academic goals. Resources and programs include Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, Academic Success Coaching, and Workshops. If you would like more information on what the CSA has to offer, this is the workshop for you.
Time Management

Are you turning in assignments late? Do you pull all-nighters to write a paper or study for an exam? You need a time management intervention! Stop procrastination and create a plan to budget your time so you the time to do what you WANT to do and still get done all of the things you HAVE to do!
Note-Taking

Do you take notes in all of your classes? Do you keep your notes organized? Do you review your notes and check comprehension? If you answered "No" to any of these questions, this workshop will benefit you. Learn the importance of taking good notes and generating good questions to help you understand difficult concepts and content. Get the most out of your class notes!
Reading Strategies

Your textbook is always useful. Problem is, most students don't know how to use it. Whether your readings are paperback or digital, important information often not mentioned in class is there. In this workshop you will learn tips and strategies to become a more efficient and effective reader.
Test Taking
Test Anxiety

When you hear the word "exam" do you immediately panic? You may have test anxiety. Some anxiety is good, but too much will effect your performance. Learn what causes this anxiety, coping mechanisms, and preparation strategies that will help you take back control of your exams!
Final Exam Preparation

Finals Week- The week most students dread. With a lot of work and a lot of planning, you can survive and thrive during finals week. In this workshop, you will create a week long study plan to help you get through a lot of material in a short amount of time without cramming! Learn effective study strategies to conquer finals and keep the great GPA you have earned.
